Description
This drippy painting serves as a prelude to my Seeds and Roots series. Here, the pods of three prairie seeds have sprouted one main root each. I like how gravity pulls the oozing oils down parallel to the vertical taproots. This is 180 degrees opposite to how artists usually paint a prairie landscape and gives a sense of the subterranean view.
