Melody and rhythm are so integral to how I approach my art. When I get enraptured in song, I am compelled to put my experience onto canvas and share my feelings with the world. This visualization of something auditory, or even unknown, provides both a mystical and universal sense to my abstract paintings. The bright pops of orange and yellow contrast nicely with the more subdued hues. They provide punchy percussive accents in the midst of a smooth blue baseline.
