Description
When I lived in Colorado, I gravitated toward the issue of fracking. Everyone should look that process up. To mine natural gas from buried shale rock, fossil fuel companies pump fresh water into the ground with chemicals. This allows them to harvest this non-renewable energy source, but it poisons everyone’s groundwater. This is the water that people access via wells for drinking, bathing, and cooking. The mining apparatus on the right peers over an eerie landscape, with a subterranean view of the oozing black gold, or blood, depending on your perspective.
