Description
As depression sets in, the optimist may remember that it is often darkest before dawn. Whether seeking social justice, finding our way in relationships, or coming to terms with our existence, darkness weighs heavy on the soul. But, sometimes, right when our energy is drained and hope seems lost, we see a glimmer of sunlight peeking through. This fledgling radiant beam soon envelops the land and our being, restoring our perspective and our hope. After all, hope is a good thing, and it serves us well to hold it close.
